Proposal:
My magazine is going to be aimed at the Sporting activities/facilities that are provided by Southdowns College, for example Football Academy, the Fitness Centre, the Rock Climbing wall, dance studios etc. The audience will obviously be sporty people and I am hoping not only to attract people from Southdown’s College but also students from other colleges or younger years to see what the college provides.
The magazine will contain the sporting activities and facilities available in SDC, it will also contain the latest news and future plans. The magazine will be published monthly because their isn’t always a lot of news about sport in the college in a week but building it up to month there will be plenty to put in the magazine. The images that I will use in the front cover will be pictures of sporting students and facilities so it is as simple as can be for readers to understand what the magazine is about.
My ideas for the cover lines will be people’s opinions in speech marks to show an opinion of some of the facilities and also descriptions of the facilities and activities. My magazine will be called SDCS (Southdowns college sport) the title will make it obvious to the reader what the magazine is about.
